Social Mobility in US Social Mobility in the pass in States? Abstract: The focus of this paper will be societal mobility in the States. My expected findings were that upward kind mobility is declining in America, well-disposed mobility depends on race, income, mother and father occupation, and ethnicity. The method of enquiry that I used was literature review. I found that 1) upward amicable mobility is more likely for a white someone than a black individual 2) upward social mobility among the pull down classes is decrease and downward social mobility is increasing 3) upward social mobility does profit the higher the person starts on the social ladder.
